We are looking for New Grads who are graduating in Spring of 2023 who are interested in starting a career as a Data Engineer. You'll experience hands-on learning in this full time opportunity and you will work alongside our innovative team of data engineers.
Job Description
As a new or recent graduate hire, you will join Blend360's All-Star Program, an elite 6-month early-career talent development program uniquely designed for those interested in pursuing a career in professional services and consulting. You will have the opportunity to work alongside Blend360's analytics and technology practitioners and gain hands-on experience in one of our core capability areas, including Data Science, Business Intelligence and Data Engineering, and Client and Project Management. Through our intensive training, which includes Blend360 instructor-led and online certification courses, as well as working on billable client projects under the guidance of senior team members, you will develop the soft and hard skills necessary to excel in your role as a professional Data Engineer at Blend360.
The All-Star focused on Data Engineering will:
- Develop scalable and robust data pipelines using cutting-edge cloud technology and frameworks including: AWS, Azure, GCP, Spark, Docker, and many more.
- Work with business leaders to solve unique business challenges using advanced analytical techniques.
- Create modular code libraries that can be reused and repurposed for additional business needs.
- Build good CI/CD practices and general testing rigor.
- Implement models, data structures, and complex business transformations in an enterprise production environment.
- Write accommodating documentation with data assets and product deliverables.
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing data products that deliver business value.

- Location: Columbia, MD or Denver, CO
- Must be graduating in the spring or early summer of 2023, start date is June of 2023

Qualifications
- Degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science or other quantitative discipline
- Internship experience in Data Science, Engineering, or Analytics
- Strong problem-solving skill through quantitative thinking and analysis
- Strong verbal and written communication Skills
- Ability to work effectively in small and large teams delivering solutions for various clients
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Required Technical Skills
- Strong Python and SQL
Additional Information
The starting pay range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 . Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
