Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in advertising/marketing, brand management, or advertising sales and digital media/platforms.
- 6 years of sales management experience.
- Ability to travel for client meetings and trainings as required.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience leading brand-focused sales and performance products.
- Experience developing revenue strategies and establishing business processes and plans that drive operational accuracy.
- Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment, influence, and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
- Ability to establish strong relationships at all levels and geographies throughout the organization and cross-functionally, as well as support clients in multiple locations with global travel as needed.
- Demonstrated success establishing, managing, and maintaining C-suite customer relationships.
- Deep industry expertise with building relationships in the Tech Business-to-Business sector.

As the Industry Director for Tech Business-to-Business, you will lead an organization of sales professionals, consulting and partnering with some of the largest brand marketers in the world. You will drive a vital, fast-growing business for Americas Large Customer Sales. Under your leadership, the team will develop and manage deep, complex customer relationships. Externally, the Industry Director is responsible for growing and stewarding Google’s customer relationships with Chief Marketing Officers in the US. Internally, this role works closely with product leaders influencing cross-functional stakeholders and teams towards optimal solutions for our customers.
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$313,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
