We are looking for a Customer Success Analyst to join the Customer Success (CX) Analytics Team at Asana. This role will have direct influence on bringing our CX strategies to life through supporting our Customer Success, Renewals, and Professional Services organizations with data-driven insights and recommendations.This role will also enjoy being part of an inclusive company with an incredible culture, and on a team that is thinking big in order to transform our business through advanced analytics.
This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you’ll achieve
- Scope, manage, execute, and deliver project-based analyses to CX leadership to help drive data-driven decision-making on critical business initiatives.
- Scope, design, and develop dashboards CX leaders can regularly leverage to manage their business.
- Identify and communicate key opportunities to help optimize business outcomes through quantitative analysis
- Work with Data Science to inform development of predictive models that guide CX initiatives and investments
- Partner with our Enterprise Technology and Data teams to identify and address analytics tracking, tooling, and infrastructure challenges to unlock new, reliable reporting.
- Collaborate closely with product, customer success, data science and other analytics partners to build models and prepare analyses that help our CX leaders understand and influence Asana’s customer retention
- Create KPIs that measure and monitor our progress against business-critical goals
- Perform ad hoc analysis diving into the impact of CX investments and initiatives
About you
- Minimum 4 years of experience in roles requiring analytical rigor in functions like, but not restricted to, analytics, sales strategy/ops, finance, banking, consulting, etc.
- 2+ years of experience with customer success or revenue teams preferred
- Strong expertise in SQL (create, maintain, and optimize data sets)
- Strong expertise in data visualization with either Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets and translate them into actionable strategies
- Track record of results in fast-moving environments and ability to excel under ambiguity
- “Roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude: willingness and enthusiasm to build from the ground up
- Building Salesforce reports and dashboards preferred

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $146,000 - $186,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
