Accounts Receivable Supervisor

The AR Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the company accounts receivable processes and procedures. In addition, the position oversees the timely and accurate invoicing of customers, processing and posting of tenant payments and communication with tenants according to the company's policies.

Requirements

This position is responsible for:

• Prepare and report on a weekly basis an AR aging report.
• Review tenant ledgers in order to identify inconsistencies or other issues.
• Negotiate with tenants as per ECP protocols and processes.
• Identify process improvements and discuss with management efficiency opportunities.
• Post to financial records incoming electronic payments.
• Maintain financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls.
• Maintain and develop tenant relationship efforts, reply to email communications in a timely manner and answer tenant phone calls.
• Assist with the daily deposit of tenant payments.
• Maintain accounting ledgers by posting monthly account transactions.
• Supervise the monthly billing process.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Familiarity with financial, accounting, and bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, forecasting, and Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (SFAS)
• Time and process management, including the ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous deadlines, set priorities, and work under pressure
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Accounting and superlative quantitative skills
• Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality and privacy
• Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to resolve misunderstandings and errors in a diplomatic manner
• Typing, computing, and data entry skills
• Analytical skills
• Organizational skills
• Strong financial skills and understanding of financial concepts and business principles
• Documentation skills

Required: 

• Associate’s or bachelor’s in accounting, finance, economics, or business management
• At least 5+ years’ experience working in an accounting, billing, or accounts receivable department.
