We are currently looking for a supervisor who is safety-conscious and willing to learn and grow with the organization. The incumbent must be willing to work any shift.

Experience

• Working in a plate processing, forging, or forming facility

• Working with ASME Section 8 Div 1 forming and welding practices

• Organizing material flow and inventory to reach production targets

• Overseeing the health and safety of employees as well as ensuring that quality processes and procedures are adhered to

• Experience using lean tools such as 5S and Kaizen

• Maintaining production schedules through effective supervision and coordination of direct reports

• Identify problems and propose solutions and/or improvements

• Control costs within their area of responsibility to include labor and shop supplies

• Coaching and training employees and promoting growth within the business

Skills and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2-3 years of leading, coaching, and mentoring in an industrial facility

• Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Outlook and Excel

• Critical thinking skills as well as the ability to manage their time and be detail-oriented

• Listening and feedback skills to communicate with employees, peers, and others respectfully and effectively in the organization
