This opportunity for Engineer | Front-end Software Developer (m/f/d) will be integrated into the Space team.

As a Front-End Engineer, you are part of the Digital team of the Space unit. 
You will be a vital contributor to the user-facing aspect of our applications and responsible for crafting engaging user experiences with the latest technologies and innovative design concepts, to deliver value to our customers.
We are looking for a talented Front-End Engineer with expertise in JavaScript frameworks / libraries, to join our development team. You will have responsibilities for designing, implementing, and maintaining user interfaces for our web applications, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, responsive, and performant web solutions.
If you''re passionate about creating user-friendly and visually appealing web applications and have a strong command of React, we want to hear from you.
In the end, you will be part of a team motivated to change the world by delivering amazing Earth Observation products, applications or insights leveraging the capabilities of satellites.

Qualificações

Academic education:

• Graduated in Computer Science or equivalent field of studies.

Professional experience:

• At least 3 years of experience with React development tools.
• Experience working with a highly available platforms and products, and working with multidisciplinary teams.

Hardskills:

• Higher education in Computer Science or similar.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in development with React (preferentially), including state management.
• Proficiency in modern web development technologies such as HTML5, CSS / SASS, and TypeScript / JavaScript (ES6+). 
• Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with back-end services.
• Version control using Git.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as React Testing Library or Jest.

Mandatory requirements:

• Solid knowledge in Web development tools, such as JavaScript / TypeScript, CSS / SASS, HTML5, React, Redux Toolkit, RESTFul web services.
• Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and web security.
• Encourage the use of appropriate software reuse techniques.
• Skills in Agile methodology, Git and JIRA.

Preferential requirements:

• Front-End Developer Professional certifications.
• Knowledge with GIS and data vizualisationn technologies.
• Very good level of English, written and spoken.
