Overview
The Clinical Social Worker III provides clinical care to children, adolescents, adults, and families, including mental health and medically-focused psychosocial evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and coordination of care in the Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation (CASSI). The incumbent participates on client & family centered interdisciplinary teams reflecting strengths and needs of the client consistent with the values and principles of the practice of social work, and may be involved in training activities, outreach, and research as members of interdisciplinary programs and the department. The incumbent will participate in activities of leadership within the department, provide supervision to licensed social workers and clinical social workers, and may provide field instruction to trainees. This position may require the provision of after-hours, on-call social work services, and requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate after-school and some early evening appointments as well as a share of coverage for LMSW and trainee appointments.

Qualifications
- Must possess and maintain a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) license, issued by the Maryland State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Board of Social Work Examiners.
- Must be an authorized supervisor through the Board of Social Work Examiners.
- Must possess clinical expertise in a specialized area of social work.
EDUCATION:
- Master's degree from an accredited school of Social Work is required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum four years of licensed clinical experience required, preferably with children, adolescents and young adults with developmental, learning, medical and/or emotional disabilities.
- Previous experience with the supervision of social work trainees is preferred.
