Your role as a QESH Coordinator

Key responsibilities:

Position Overview
NewCold is looking for a QESH Coordinator to assist our QESH Manager to effectively manage the
Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health functions on site and provide a level of service in line with
customer requirements and legislation, at a level of cost agreed in the budget. This person will create
and develop a professional culture on site, in line with our values and ensure that a positive attitude to
Health & Safety is embedded within the team on site. Our QESH Coordinators are responsible for the
implementation and maintenance of QESH programs for our NewCold sites and improving internal and
external QESH standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Responsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness across the site.
• Manages the QESH portion of Employee onboarding to include:
o Our Learning & Development tool, NewCold Academy
o Locker Management
o Issuing Gear and maintaining inventory
o Introduction to NewCold Policies and Procedures
• Compliance with all regulatory agencies required or voluntary including but not limited to OSHA,
EPA, FDA, FSMA, C-TPAT, BRC, etc.
• Documents safety and environmental data for required company and regulatory reporting.
• Advises and assists the site’s management, production leaders and employees manage risks
regarding Safety and Health.
• Assist in preparation of the monthly, quarterly and/or annual quality management review.
• Participates in equipment installation and set-up to assist in design for safety, health, and
environmental principles.
• Continually look for opportunities for improvement.

Who we are looking for:
We are seeking motivated and forward-thinking individuals who thrive in collaborative and fast-moving environments. Our ideal candidate has:

Experience
• 2+ Years of experience in a light industrial and/or warehousing environment.
• 2+ years of experience in Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA, BRC, VPP, and First Aid.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to manage multiple open positions.
• Self-starter who is willing to take initiative.
Education/Certification
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science or related field preferred, but
not required.
