The Educational Pathways Relationship Manager serves as a vital link between Reid Health and educational partners in the K-12 and higher education sectors. This role is responsible for managing relationships with educational institutions and overseeing programs that provide students with hands-on, experiential learning opportunities in healthcare and supporting roles. The Educational Pathways Relationship Manager will organize introductory experiences such as campus tours, career panels with healthcare professionals, and school visits, as well as coordinating work-based learning programs, including apprenticeships, internships, job shadowing, and pre-professional experiences.

The Educational Pathways Relationship Manager will work strategically to engage educational partners to create sustainable relationships and career pathways for students to develop a grow our own career pathway pipeline.

Overview of Responsibilities

30%   Relationship Management and Program Development – The Educational Pathways Relationship Manager will: 

  • Establish and maintain partnerships with K-12 schools, vocational programs, and higher education institutions.
  • Develop and implement introductory healthcare learning experiences, such as facility tours, career panels, and hands-on school activities, to introduce students to careers in healthcare.
  • Build relationships with community organizations to expand the reach of Reid Health’s education programs.
  • Create recognition and engagement programs to celebrate student achievement and further link students to Reid Health.
  • 30%   Experiential Learning Coordination – The Educational Pathways Relationship Manager will: 

  • Design and coordinate work-based learning programs including apprenticeships, internships, job shadowing, and pre-professional experiences.
  • Work closely with Reid Health department leaders to align student learning experiences with career opportunities in the healthcare sector.
  • Oversee mentorship and engagement activities to ensure high-quality student experiences and learning outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with Reid’s NERD program and Human Resources to ensure partnerships and programs are aligned with Reid’s clinical and staffing needs.
  • 30% Community Relations – The Educational Pathways Relationship Manager will: 

  • Serve as a community liaison, attending events, giving presentations, and representing Reid Health’s mission to local educational and community groups.
  • Engage with Reid’s Marketing & Communications Department to promote success stories and share program outcomes with the community.
  • Regularly attend events within Reid’s service area to foster awareness and build trust with stakeholders.
  • Attend Business & Education Committee meetings throughout the region.
  • Serve as the internal and external primary point of contact for Reid Health’s engagement with educational partners.
  • Track and communicate Reid scholarship recipients.
  • 10%   Strategic Planning and Reporting – The Educational Pathways Relationship Manager will: 

  • Collaborate with the Vice President/Foundation President to develop a strategic plan for Reid Health’s education initiatives, aligning with broader community health and workforce development goals as determined by Administration.
  • Chair and coordinate activities conducted by Reid’s Workforce Development Committee.
  • Provide regular updates, impact reports and KPI progress to Reid Health’s Leadership Team
  • Assist in the development of key performance indicators to measure the program’s impact on community engagement and workforce pipeline.
  • 5%     Other duties as assigned –Perform other duties incidental to those described herein and as assigned by the Vice President.

    Education/Experience

    Education Required:  A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in education, communications or relevant field.
