SUMMARY

We have an exciting open position in LNC primarily. Reporting to the President of Closures, North America.

 

The NA Closures supply chain director will be accountable for orchestrating the entire supply chain process, ensuring seamless integrations between suppliers, manufacturing and customers to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Bringing a strategic vision to improve overall processes, leveraging data analytics to forecast demand, leading the SOP process and make informed decisions that enhance inventory management and streamline logistics.

The NA closures supply chain director will drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovation excellence in the supply chain scope, lead the team to adapt to market changes and implement sustainable practices to enhance operational resilience and contribute to overall business success.

 

JOB DUTIES

• Strategy Building: Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategic initiatives with business objectives.
• Supply Chain and Customer Service Management: Oversee the entire supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. Identify opportunities to improve customer service, response rate, KPI’s and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Forecasting and Planning: Develop and implement strategies for forecasting demand, inventory planning, and procurement to ensure the timely availability of materials while minimizing costs.
• Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with global suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure favorable agreements and ensure the quality and reliability of materials.
