Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Student Housekeeper to assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of campus facilities within Saint Xavier University. This role is ideal for students looking for part-time work that fits around their academic schedule.

Examples of duties

The following identifies the primary and essential functions of the position and is not intended to be an exhaustive listing of all duties.
 

1. Performs custodial tasks and maintenance of areas such as classrooms, offices and auditoriums.
2. Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
3. Washes, dusts and polishes glass including windows, woodwork, walls, furniture and metal equipment;
4. Cleans whiteboards and other classroom surfaces.
5. Cleans and sanitizes sinks, water fountains, and/or fixture in restrooms and similar environments.
6. Performs event set-up for university functions.
7. Maintains assigned closets and equipment in a neat, clean and safe working condition.
8. Removes snow and ice from stairways and walkways around buildings;
9. Salts stairways and walkways.
10. Reports need for repairs.

     11.Immediately reports any and all unsafe conditions.

Qualifications

MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY

Must be Federal Work Study Eligible

Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter
