Responsibilities

Complete Building Services (CBS) seeks a full-time Licensed Journeyman Plumber to support a facility in Fairfax, VA. The Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and gas lines, to ensure proper operation and compliance with regulations. The Journeyman Plumber will also perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing components and fixtures. 

Base Hours:  Monday-Friday 6:00 AM-2:30 PM. Salary $35.00 - $40.00 per hour.

• Prepare work plans for site activities
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems and associated hardware and equipment
• Diagnose and repair plumbing systems and ancillary hardware and equipment
• Install plumbing systems, piping, and associated hardware and equipment according to specifications and schematics provided by engineering work orders
• Place or remove plumbing systems, hardware and equipment as required
• Perform preventative maintenance of plumbing systems on an assigned basis
• Purchase materials and supplies as required for timely work completion
• Interface with site managers and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction
• Accurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work orders
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School degree
• Journeyman Plumber's License
• 5 years of relevant experience installing and repairing gas/water plumbing systems
• Demonstrated customer skills
• Able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
• Capable of climbing ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet
