Logistics Operator – 1st Shift

As a Logistics Operator, you will be responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and staging/distribution of raw materials and finished products. This includes receiving materials and stock transfers; preparing shipments by palletizing, wrapping, labeling, etc.; ensuring shipments include required documentation; loading and unloading transport trucks; scheduling pick-up appointments and deliveries and stages in support of the Schenectady/Glenville NY Sites. Candidate will follow/comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety / regulatory requirements, and operational goals.

Responsibilities: 

• Performs day-to-day duties of shipping, receiving, and material handling. Must be able to operate a fork truck.
• Assists with accurate and timely inventory counts as requested.
• Adjusts orders due to scheduling or shipping changes.
• Raw material sampling.
• Inspects inbound and outbound trucks and materials.
• Maintains accurate and timely shipping and receiving records.

You bring:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years’ experience in warehouse role.
• Forklift experience
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. as needed throughout the shift.
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to travel between our Schenectady & Glenville warehouses.
