This is a rare opportunity to join the Carrier Franklin team as a direct hire.  As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for working with a team in a manufacturing environment, and the hours are Monday – Friday, 2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11pm, 3rd shift: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities include:

• Set up, maintain and operate machine to ensure minimal downtime and efficient production.
• Ensure appropriate, accurate documentation of processes
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to equipment
• Maintain materials used in production processes
• Adhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment
• Recommend improvements consistently striving for efficient and effective methodologies
• Maintain departmental quality standards
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat.
• Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift items that can weigh up to 35 pounds.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
