Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations at our new Charleston location. This is a unique opportunity to help establish and grow a brand-new facility while shaping its culture, processes, and success from the ground up.

The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and employee training while fostering a safe and positive work environment. Candidates with experience setting up a new warehouse will be especially valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth daily operations by organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees
• Develop and improve warehouse processes for product handling, storage, inventory control, and shipping/receiving
• Maintain accurate inventory records through weekly, monthly, and annual audits
• Lead with a focus on teamwork, safety, and employee development
• Monitor productivity and create actionable improvement plans
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Assist with additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in warehouse leadership or management
• High School diploma or GED required
• Industrial distribution experience preferred; HVAC industry experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; ERP experience preferred (we use Prophet 21)
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficiency in using RF scanners strongly preferred
• CDL Class A or B license strongly preferred
• Prior experience launching or setting up a new warehouse highly beneficial
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, with flexibility to stay until 7pm as required
