Job Description
The Associate Client Director is responsible for client management and relationships, the revenue management process, and collaborating with manufacturer groups within your assigned vertical. You are the voice of the client to internal stakeholders and champion their growth.
Your success in this role will be driven by four areas. First, working with Directors and senior leaders with the clients to discover our current clients’ needs, and your ability to translate that into actionable revenue opportunities. Second is successfully building and growing relationships across your client base through demonstrating analytic, service and product value. Third, supporting contract renewals and net new agreements. Fourth ensuring client deliverables exceed customer expectations. Your proven track record in service delivery, measurement and data/information strategy will position you to build and maintain strong relationships with our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate clear day-to-day and strategic communications with the client roster
- Project manage internal cross-functional client issue resolution and the associated response
- Build deep expertise and empathy with your client
- Identify opportunities for increased partnership and elevating those opportunities to organizational partners
- Drive strategic thought leadership within and across clients leveraging NIQ tools and assets
- Prove the value of NIQ solutions in support of growth, adoption and value creation
- Identify product and service opportunities to expand our integration into client processes
- Support the timely delivery of content to client stakeholders in the appropriate format/communication channel.
- Demonstrate the value and importance of analytics with our clients.
- Assist in setting reporting expectations across all stakeholders
- Ad hoc projects and commitments
Qualifications
- 5-10 years’ experience in a relevant industry (Retail, CPG, consulting, sales)
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Relevant experience with research techniques & solutions in the related industries of Consumer Packaged Goods, Consulting, Information, Sales, Analytics or similar
- Experience working with Syndicated POS Data (Connect, AOD, Spectra, Case), and/or Homescan Panel Data
- Effective in senior level communications, influencing & negotiation
- Mission-driven and passionate about serving a purpose
- Excellent awareness of market conditions and client business environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software and Salesforce
- Familiarity with NielsenIQ tools, applications and platforms a plus
