Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Harpoon Field Service Representative in support of integrated operation, testing, and troubleshooting with F-15QA aircraft at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.

This is a Long-Term Assignment to Qatar. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. Ability to meet international assignment health requirements required. If accompanied, family must also meet international assignment health requirements.

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • On-the-Job Training (OJT) to Harpoon weapon personnel in maintenance and operation techniques as they pertain to handling, loading, testing, troubleshooting, inspection, and day to day usage.
  • Advise and instruct in the use of associated special tools and equipment.
  • Safety as related to all aspects of the Harpoon Missile and associated support equipment inspection, test, and repair.
  • Demonstrate the 'Best Method' for installations, modifications, usage, and repairs.
  • Technical advice for the resolution of technical and unusual maintenance problems including Operational Flight Software (OFS).
  • Advise maintenance personnel in preparing failure reports, Report of Deficiencies (RODs), Technical Publication Discrepancy Reports
  • Emphasize safety precautions in all maintenance and training events.
  • Provide a liaison through which technical information related to maintenance and operational problems available at the Contractor's facility can quickly be disseminated.
  • For queries which require reach back support, the Contractor will use an electronic correspondence tracking and online reporting tool (ex. VECTOR or equivalent) to document queries and responses.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 5 years of experience interpreting engineering drawings, schematics & technical publications for Harpoon Weapon System
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, employees must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs. Failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international) to meet customer needs and the statement of work.  Failure to relocate will be considered as a resignation.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • F-15 Radar / Avionics / Electrical systems experience relative to Harpoon Weapon System integration.

Ex-Pat Information:

  • Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country
  • Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable
  • Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country
  • Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate.

Relocation benefits will be provided only to the international assignment.
