About the role
<ul>
<li>Responsible for the Management of selected Global Accounts within the NVO program (GNP)</li>
<li>Responsible for customer performance</li>
<li>Define volume targets in close cooperation with the GNP Teams in the Regions</li>
<li>Close alignment on trade & customer strategy with internal key stakeholders, such Trade Management, Regions, Areas, Cargo Control Center</li>
<li>Setting annual customer strategy in close alignment with Regional Account Managers</li>
<li>Monitor and drive customer performance, as well as company objectives in line with company strategy</li>
<li>Build up close relationship to customer point of entries to ensure Hapag-Lloyd strategy is met</li>
<li>Monitor business segmentation throughout the year in line with HL trade strategy and take corrective actions if required</li>
<li>Serve as a key escalation point for our customers</li>
<li>Perform regular customer QBR’s/negotiation meetings. This may include travel both regionally and globally</li>
<li>Understand our customer business model, needs and requirements</li>
<li>Overall responsibility for the usage of opportunity related tools, such as pipeline, Book of Business</li>
<li>Ensure sufficient opportunities are captured to meet annual customer volume target</li>
<li>Actively drive Push & Pull Interactions with Regional GNP Teams</li>
<li>Follow up on CES result for the customers in the portfolio</li>
<li>Participation in projects</li>

<li>Relevant professional experience in a comparable commercial position</li>
<li>Proven sales ability and negotiation experiences</li>
<li>Proven leadership skills and track record of leading and motivating a team</li>
<li>Analytical skills with the ability to identify market opportunities, as well as good problem-solving and organizational skills</li>
<li>Experience with CRM Salesforce preferred</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS TEAMS</li>
<li>Knowledge of Hapag-Lloyd systems</li>
<li>Good communication skills and fluent in both verbal and written English (German and French are a plus)</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills</li>
<li>Ability to recognize and attend to multiple facets in issues and problems, as well as to come up with creative solutions to solve problems</li>
