Job Summary:
Assists in developing and implementing strategies for securing financial support from Guild and employee donors, including the Cancer and Founders Guilds. Creates and staffs an Employee Giving Campaign Committee. Secures annual gifts for a variety of internal funds and special campaigns as defined by the Foundation President and the Hospital's Executive Council. Assumes responsibility for volunteer committees and increasing the numbers of new prospects and existing donors.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Five years' fundraising experience: Preferred
- One year leadership experience: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Commits to an annual fundraising goal from all Volunteer and Employee activities and campaigns to be determined at the beginning of each year and communicated in writing.
- Focuses on securing annual gifts for the employee hardship fund, unrestricted, cancer, chaplain services, and special campaigns as defined by the Foundation President and the Hospital's Executive Council
- Assists in developing and implementing strategies for securing financial support from Guild and employee donors, including the Cancer and Founders Guilds. Creates and staffs an Employee Giving Campaign Committee. Assists with the organization, production and maintenance of campaign materials, data and events
- Assumes operational responsibility for data and all communications with Volunteer and Employee constituents, processes gifts from Volunteer and Employee constituents in Blackbaud, oversees fundraising events for these volunteer groups, recruits new committee and Guild members and manages and executes donor solicitations and donor engagement activities.
- Organizes periodic community outreach and education events to share the mission of the Foundation
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
