About the role

24 hrs/wk - Hours may vary - day shift is 530a - 6p and second shift is 11a - 730p depending on department needs with an every other weekend requirement.

This position prepares regular and therapeutic diet, hot and cold food items for retail, patient, and catering. Assembles food items according to production sheets under the direction of the Chef, Lead, Manager, or Supervisor. Training will be provided as needed.

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Requires 1-3 Years of food preparation experience.
  • ISDOH approved certification of Food Handler under Title 410 IAC 7-22 may be required at some facilities. 
  • ServSafe Certification preferred.
