Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Operations manager is responsible for supporting daily operational processes and driving efficiency across the supply chain network. This role focuses on optimizing costs, improving service performance, and enhancing collaboration with internal teams and third-party logistics partners. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with proactive problem-solving to ensure seamless operations and alignment with business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and support daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational processes as defined by management.
  • Drive company profitability through operational excellence, cost control, and process improvement.
  • Perform monthly reviews of distribution center (DC) and freight costs to identify opportunities for savings and efficiency.
  • Partner with internal teams and external 3PL providers to promote collaboration, enhance service levels, and achieve cost reduction goals.
  • Identify areas within the supply chain to optimize cost while improving delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Chargeback team to determine root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Work cross-functionally with Production, Planning, Finance, and Sales to align forecasts with order and work-in-progress (WIP) cutoffs.
  • Conduct daily reviews of Out-of-Requirement (OOR) reports and inventory records to ensure data accuracy and service compliance.
  • Lead weekly forecasting and performance review meetings to assess progress toward key operational metrics.
  • Prepare and participate in monthly business reviews with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Utilize SAP and Excel to generate reports, analyze data, and support decision-making.
  • Monitor warehouse capacity and throughput to ensure optimization against budget and latest estimate (LE) targets.
  • Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to maintain business continuity.
  • Research and resolve shipping discrepancies, delayed deliveries, and inventory issues, providing insights to prevent recurrence.
  • Respond effectively to changing customer needs and evolving business conditions.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with 3PL partners to review inbound deliveries, sales forecasts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and chargebacks.
  • Support ad hoc reporting requests from Sales, Finance, Planning, and Operations teams.
  • Assist with new customer onboarding and implementation, collaborating with Sales, Accounting, Legal, and Compliance to ensure timely completion.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and build productive relationships with internal and external partners.

Salary Range: $90,000-110,000
