About the Team
The mission of ByteDance's Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC) is to manage all incoming and outgoing cash transactions in a timely, accurate, efficient and controlled manner. We are currently looking for a driven and detail-oriented Expense Management Accountant to join our team. You will become an integral part of our Global Accounting Team.

Hybrid Work Model: We are back to the office in a hybrid work model, with employees working in the office three days per week for this team.

Responsibilities
- Have a strong understanding of the company's expense and reimbursement policies.
- Address employee escalations and inquiries.
- Detailed review and approval of travel expenses, employee reimbursement, and corporate credit card based on company policies.
- Deliver reimbursement education to internal and external customers.
- Provide coverage support for the Finance Service Center.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or finance-related field.
- At least 2 years of general accounting or reimbursement experience at a technology or Internet company.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software and relevant systems technology.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good team spirit, and ability to collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving and financial skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using expense management solutions such as Concur or Expensify, and ERP systems including but not limited to Oracle, SAP, NetSuite.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy and dynamic environment with willingness to accept challenges.
- Principled, flexible, and resourceful with a positive customer service mentality.
- Professional proficiency in Mandarin is preferred due to system use and frequent review/handling of reimbursement reports and documents from international stakeholders and markets.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $68000 - $109000 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
