For the site in Gilching we are looking for you as Software Tester (m/f/w) Embedded Systems (m/f/d)

 

These challenges await you:

• Support the creation of test plans, test cases, and relevant test documentation in complying with the ASPICE framework

• Plan and execute software tests for Embedded Control Units (ECUs

• Perform code reviews in C language

• Perform code reviews for Matlab/Simulink models

• Record and analyze communication logs of Controller Area Network (CAN bus)

• Evaluate test results, identify software issues, and document detailed error reports

• Collaborate closely with the development teams to analyze problems and find effective solutions. 

• Conduct system integration tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of HVAC systems and heaters

• Ensure the proper maintenance of test data, scripts, and documentation

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for the testing process and overall quality assurance

• Develop tools and scripts to perform test automation using C++/Python/Labviewx

 

You inspire us with that:

• Bachelor or higher qualification in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, automotive engineering or similar

•  2 - 3 years of professional experience in embedded software development in C/C++ as well as in simulation and code generation with Matlab/Simulink, as well as in the area of software testing is mandatory

• Good knowledge of embedded systems, standards (including ISO 26262, ASPICE), review techniques, SW test methods, and tools (Requirements- / Configuration Management)

• STQB Certification is preferred

• Good language skills in written and spoken English is mandatory

• Good language skills in written and spoken German is desirable 

• Knowledge of communication systems (UART, CAN or LIN) , electronic design and use of measurement instruments (i.e, Multimeter, oscilloscope)

• Knowledge in C programming language, Matlab/Simulink, MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and interested in practical activities
