Operations Research Support

Description

Operations Research support to respond to data requests, plan surveys and focus groups, analyze, visualize and present collected data, interface with SOCSOUTH MISO personnel and decision-makers, and support SOCSOUTH campaign and MISO planning. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree. 
• Proficiency level Spanish speaker with a minimum score of 2/2 Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) or Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) in reading and writing. FTE shall be able to quickly and accurately translate information into Spanish and English, identify colloquial and idiomatic phrases in raw information, and provide spot check capability for machine translated information. 
• US Citizen holding a security clearance of Secret. 
• 0-3 total years of experience in TWO OR MORE of the following areas: intelligence, data science, social science analysis, polling. 
• Shall demonstrate expertise in both qualitative and quantitative analysis with the following: 

· Knowledge or experience in qualitative analysis, including content analysis, thematic analysis, and coding/categorization of textual data, with proficiency in software such as MAXQDA or NVivo. 

· Knowledge or experience in quantitative analysis, including statistical analysis, data visualization, and correlative analysis, with proficiency in software such as R, Python, or SPSS. 

· An understanding of research design, methodology, and statistical analysis, as well as experience with data management, data cleaning, and data visualization.
