Job Title: Technical Design – Floor Covering

 

Job Summary:

 

This position is responsible for Technical Design support for New

Product Introductions and Custom Design Requests for the Commercial, Hospitality, and Residential

Businesses of the Floor Covering Division. This position is

located at Live Oak in LaGrange, GA. The position reports directly to

the Design Manager – Custom Product Development. The work schedule is

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Provide creative and technical design support for custom carpet

projects

• Provide technical design support for new product development and new

product introductions

• Assist with custom sample color and design creation and approvals

• Working with Business Leadership, Sales Associates, and A&D community

to assess design/color requirements and translate into openline and/or

custom products

• Support manufacturing and production ranges with design and/or color

Troubleshooting

 

Qualifications – Required:

 

• Minimum of 1-2 years graphic or textile design experience

• Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator), Microsoft Office

(Excel/PowerPoint/Word), Outlook

 

Qualifications – Preferred:

 

• Degree in Graphic Design or Textile Design

• Proficient in Ned Graphics
