This entry level position and job duties will allow you to:
• Development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling / equipment and al-lowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item.
• Design / documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Pro-Engineer / Solid Works.
• Provide engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day to day integration processes by analyzing and using problem solving skills in a team environment in accordance with production rate requirements.
• Research, plan, design and develop mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and / or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and / or machines.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
• Pursuing Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technical related discipline from an accredited college
• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired skills
• Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical design
• Knowledgeable of general manufacturing / integration processes
• Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, CREO, or Solid Works.
• Knowledgeable of engineering materials
• Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
