Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for both HR and legal strategy? We’re seeking a General Counsel & SVP of HR to join our forward-thinking team. In this exciting dual role, you'll drive strategic HR initiatives and oversee legal matters, making a significant impact on our organization’s growth and success.
As the head of HR, you’ll lead a talented team, guiding everything from talent acquisition to compensation, benefits, and performance management. You'll also be at the forefront of shaping our company culture, driving diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) efforts, and ensuring our HR systems and practices are not just compliant but cutting-edge. Your strategic insights will help us navigate mergers, acquisitions, and organizational development with ease.
In your capacity as General Counsel, you’ll provide expert legal advice on commercial contracts, M&A transactions, and corporate governance. You’ll work closely with executive leadership, contributing to the company’s long-term vision by ensuring legal and regulatory compliance in all we do. From negotiating key agreements to managing enterprise risk, your role is pivotal in safeguarding our company’s interests while driving innovation.

What You'll Bring

  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership, including 5+ years at the VP level or higher.
  • At least 6 years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house, with a strong focus on commercial contracts, M&A, and employment law.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Licensed to practice law in good standing in the State of Illinois.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present confidently at the Board level.
  • Proven experience in partnering with business leaders to drive results.
  • A track record of integrity, strategic thinking, and flawless execution.
