Description:  As a per diem, non-exempt, CPS Solutions, LLC Clinical Staff Pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy, and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.

Schedule: This position can work up to 19 hours per week, and will provide coverage "as needed". This position has no regularly scheduled hours.

Pay: Starting at $60+ per hour based on work experience.

About the Facility:  Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital is a 102-bed non-profit children's hospital that treats more than 8,000 patients each year on an inpatient, outpatient, and day treatment basis set in the scenic neighborhood of Mt. Washington in Baltimore that provides long-term care for children with complex health problems. MWPH accreditations include the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and The Joint Commission. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 7:00 am-7:00 pm, Saturday/Sunday from 8:00 am-4:30 pm. The pharmacy is closed on major holidays, including Martin Luther King day. 

Required Qualifications:

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
• Current Pharmacist license in good standing in MD
• Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program is strongly preferred
• Experience as a Pharmacist is required,
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Hospital Pharmacy experience is preferred
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
• Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
• Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
• Effective communication skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps, and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
• Hep B3 Series (or declination)
