Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:  Repair, rebuild and maintain production equipment such as lathes, EDM’s, mills, lasers, blenders, air conditioners, swamp coolers, coating/vacuum furnaces and hydraulic presses.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  The duties and responsibilities regularly performed for this position are:

·         Ability to troubleshoot/diagnose problems using symptoms and operator feedback.

·         Install precision ball screws and bearings.

·         Rebuild pumps (hydraulic and water).

·         Replace precision thrust bearings.

·         Working knowledge of CMMS.

·         Repair grit blast machines.

·         Maintain plant air compressors.

·         Rebuild hydraulic cylinders.

·         Troubleshoot Vacuum/Coating furnaces, CNC machines, Grit Blast machines

·         Ensures compliance with Company Repair Station Manual (RSM)/Quality Control Management (QCM).  Must be aware of ISO/Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) quality requirements.

·         Adhere to all Company health, safety and environmental policies while performing job duties.

·         Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.

·         Regular and reliable attendance.

The marginal duties and responsibilities (performed occasionally or at irregular intervals) for this position are:

·         Repair laser components.

·         Prefer intermediate electrical skills

·         Repair furnace components.

·         Performing other tasks in the facility as needed.

·         Ability to support in Wastewater.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: 

The specific EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE requirements of this position are:

·         High School Diploma or GED preferred

·         Five year’s experience working in the field

The specific LICENSES and/or CERTIFICATIONS required for this position are:

     Must pass job related test

The specific SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE required for this position are:

          Able to read, write and communicate in English

·         Basic math skills

·         Ability to troubleshoot/diagnose.
