AGSC Director of Developmental Programs (74904)

About the Role:  

The Asphalt Green Soccer Club is seeking a Director of Developmental Programs for its Youth Recreational Soccer Program (players age 5-13).  The Program is situated at our Upper East Side campus where we have a FIFA certified full sized field perfect for competitive and recreational play.  The Director will assist in the overall day-to-day business for the recreational, supplemental, and community soccer programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to scheduling of part-time staff, parent, and player interaction along with departmental administration.  Open availability is a must as this is a full-time on-site role with varying days - week days and weekends.   

Responsibilities  

• Implement the club wide methodology, support staff development, and track player development alongside the Director of Soccer.  

• Oversee scheduling conflicts and transportation issues. 

• Assist with staff oversight (approximately 20 part-time coaches). 

• Handle heavy parent communication. 

• Perform essential administrative duties including email correspondence, data entry into Salesforce software, payment processing, employee Time & Attendance using Paycom for payroll and general financial tracking. 

• Plan and execute supplemental training, including but not limited to Speed and Agility Clinics, Parent Training Program, Holiday Clinics, school break clinics, High Potential Player Clinics, and Summer Clinics.  

• Plan and oversee the Community Soccer Program, including but not limited to Roberto Clemente Clinics, Roberto Clemente Teams, Community Soccer League, and After School Soccer Programs.  

• Manage the AGSC Pathway Program 

• Track equipment and uniforms, submit purchase orders, etc. 

• Perform varying duties as assigned by the Director of Soccer. 

Qualifications:

• Coaching experience [3+ years] at the collegiate level OR coaching experience [5+ years] at a lower level

• Experience managing a club or college program a plus.

• Playing experience at the collegiate or professional level preferred.

• Must be able to lead a staff of part-time employees.
