Enterprise Security Architect

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience as a security architect within a large organization and a proven track record in designing and implementing security controls for consumer and e-commerce solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of modern infrastructure technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and serverless computing, as well as excellent knowledge of AWS and Microsoft Azure technologies.</p><h2><b>What you’ll do</b></h2> <p>- Develop Security Technology Roadmaps, Target Architectures, Technical Guidance, High-Level Designs, and Design Patterns.<br/>- Lead the security design and architecture, ensuring its delivery and alignment with the organization's objectives.<br/>- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate architecture and technology reviews of major programs.<br/>- Align and document security technologies and products with Enterprise Security capabilities.<br/>- Analyze the current IT security environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.<br/>- Support the design and implementation of an Enterprise Security Architecture strategy.<br/>- Advocate and support the enterprise's IT security strategy and assist in developing and implementing various IT security roadmaps.<br/>- Provide clear and rapid analysis of issues and propose solutions to operational and business challenges.<br/>- Take ownership of the security design/architecture and ensure its delivery.<br/>- Bring teams and leadership together behind the security vision and advocate for security within the business.<br/>- Find solutions to problems, work through ambiguity, and break down complex issues into workable steps.<br/>- Develop and implement security controls for B2B and B2C solutions, including IaaS and PaaS.</p><h2><b>Who you are</b></h2> <p><strong>Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p> <p>- Minimum 7 years of experience in IT Security, Information Assurance, or IT Auditing.<br/>- Significant experience in cyber security disciplines with knowledge of various Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Platform).<br/>- Experience with architecture frameworks such as SABSA, or TOGAF, and specific security frameworks and standards such as NIST, MITRE, OWASP.<br/>- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.<br/>- Strong knowledge of cyber capabilities, including designing and deploying security solutions.<br/>- Proven record of solving complex problems and turning them into actionable plans.<br/>- Relevant cyber certifications (e.g., CISSP, SABSA, CISM) are an advantage.<br/>- Excellent technical writing proficiency and oral presentation skills in English.<br/>- Highly collaborative with the ability to build relationships with colleagues from different cultures throughout the organization.<br/>- Problem-solving skills with the ability to work through ambiguity and find pragmatic solutions.<br/>- Knowledge of security standards such as ISO, NIST, CIS, and OWASP Top 10.</p> <p><strong>Personal Attributes:</strong></p> <p>- Enthusiastic and curious about security technology and its benefits to the business.<br/>- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts to stakeholders at multiple levels.<br/>- A people-centric approach, recognizing that technology serves customers, employees, and partners.</p><h2><b>Not a perfect fit?</b></h2> <p>Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
