Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Key Account Manager to join our growing team in White Plains, NY.
Reporting to the Property & Casualty Team Leader or designee, the Key Account Manager primary responsibilities include building client relationships to identify their insurance exposures and offer insurance solutions. The result is to increase client retention and increase production of business.
How You Will Contribute:
Build, expand and solidify relationships with clients at all levels within the company and use appropriate resources to address the customers’ needs of existing and prospective customers.
Provide service for clients which includes but is not limited to initiating regular account reviews to offer any necessary adjustments to existing policies and/or offer new policies/endorsements to properly protect clients’ assets. This includes coordination to confirm proposals, applications for signatures, binders, policies, etc. are delivered in a timely manner. Include all required documents and system notations to meet compliance requirements.
Correspond and maintain contact with carriers (ex: technical support teams, underwriters, customer service, etc.) for quoting system & underwriting guideline updates to ensure accuracy of quotes and policies.
Coordinate with department marketing support, producers, and Personal Lines assistants as necessary.
Operate a personal computer and appropriate software packages or their equivalent. Access carrier & other websites to obtain information as needed to properly service accounts & document system.
Meet Requirements for licensing as directed by Brown & Brown of New York.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Licenses and Certifications:
Property & Casualty Insurance license
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
Exceptional telephone demeanor
Must be experienced in using the internet and utilizing online systems
Excellent writing and oral communication skills are required
Ability to navigate MS Office/Excel/PowerPoint/AMFRS/carrier websites for quoting, etc. (Training will be provided)
At least 5+ years of experience in a similar position
Associate’s or Bachelor’s in a business or financial related discipline

Pay Range
$36.06 - $40.87 HourlyThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
