Overview

The New Club Marketing Manager will report directly to the Director of Marketing, Corporate Clubs, and play a pivotal role in the long-term success of the company. This position will support the Corporate Club Marketing team by leading the planning and execution of corporate-owned new club marketing plans, including pre-sales and grand opening media campaigns for new clubs, relocations, remodels and re-equips. Additionally, this role will lead the planning and development of new club community marketing & events strategies, best practices, and resources. The right candidate should have a strong grasp of contemporary marketing tactics and strategies and be able to develop new club marketing campaigns from concept to execution and measurement.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Hampton, NH office.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Development team to manage new corporate club marketing timelines, adjusting as needed for construction timelines.
  • Utilize analytics tools, reporting, & operations insights to identify strategic local insights for new club campaign planning.
  • Lead online & community pre-sale and grand opening campaign planning, including campaign dates and paid media, PR, CRM, and community marketing plans. Write briefs and finalize plans with guidance from Director of Marketing, Corporate Clubs.
  • Manage execution of marketing campaigns with internal marketing and agency partners.
  • Manage community marketing efforts, including campaign kick-off calls and ongoing guidance for field operations teams executing efforts locally.
  • Manage new club projects in project management platform, ensuring internal partners have regular updates and information needed to meet deadlines.
  • Continually optimize new club marketing & in-club event tactics and resources to drive awareness, joins, and community/member engagement. Develop in-club event playbooks and best practices with a focus on scaling to new and open clubs.
  • Communicate new club creative and messaging needs to brand marketing team and/or agency partners.
  • Work with internal teams to analyze new club marketing initiatives to inform ongoing optimizations.
  • Manage new club marketing budgets, quality control billing, process invoices and oversee related accruals.
  • Travel to Corporate Clubs and sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer marketing, local marketing, media strategy, or related field
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying opportunities and devising marketing campaigns that drive sales
  • Franchise or franchise related experience is helpful, but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience with Asana, SharePoint, and Salesforce a plus
  • Demonstrable experience working with larger teams to drive results
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Extremely detail-oriented, efficient, and organized with an exceptional ability to establish priorities and objec
