The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Assistant Food and Beverage Outlet Manager, an exciting opportunity to be part of the new Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville!
The Assistant Food & Beverage Outlets Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the Room Service operations at Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Nashville. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and adherence to Four Seasons service standards in the Room Service department. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will support other F&B outlets as needed to ensure a seamless and consistent guest experience across all areas. The position focuses on supporting team leadership, maintaining service excellence, and driving revenue growth while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Oversee all aspects of Room Service operations, including service flow, staff schedules, and inventory management. Ensure that all room service orders are prepared and delivered according to Four Seasons’ luxury standards.
2. Maintain an active presence in the Room Service department, engaging with guests, addressing inquiries, and resolving service-related issues promptly. Support the team in delivering personalized and memorable service.
3. Support hiring, training, and development efforts to ensure Room Service staff are knowledgeable, motivated, and aligned with company goals. Assist in conducting performance evaluations and providing ongoing coaching and mentorship.
4. Monitor financial performance of the Room Service department, assisting in tracking revenue and expenses. Support the implementation of strategies to optimize revenue, including promoting specials, upselling, and maximizing delivery efficiency.
5. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and Four Seasons brand standards, conducting routine inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency in the Room Service area. Assist with internal audits and compliance checks.
6. Collaborate with other food and beverage outlets and departments during peak times or special events, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Participate in departmental meetings and provide insights on operational improvements.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Assist in coordinating special in-room dining events, private parties, and seasonal promotions in collaboration with the Events and Special Events teams.
2. Support administrative tasks, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports such as labor cost analysis, inventory control, and operational checklists. Contribute to F&B strategy discussions in departmental meetings.
