As a Merchandiser, you'll support our sales and marketing efforts by ensuring our products are visible and attractive in assigned accounts. You'll build creative, eye-catching displays, place Point of Sale and activation materials, engage in brand development initiatives, and keep shelves, counters, cold boxes, and windows well-stocked and maintained. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, likes to think outside the box, and enjoys working collaboratively with sales teams and customers.
Note: This position is seasonal and will end on August 15th, 2025.
Key Accountabilities:
- Maximize the distribution of products sold by Quality Beverage in all applicable customer accounts
- Develop strong professional relationships with all customers at all times
- Build high-impact displays for our portfolio of products in appropriate accounts
- Maintain physical inventory and fill coolers at key retail accounts
- Monitor & communicate competitive activity as it relates to sales & marketing
- Provide support for sales promotions and special events (including nights and weekends)
- Comply with all legal guidelines, safety requirements, and Quality Beverage company standards and policies
- Responsible for assisting in the daily upkeep of the POCM warehouse
- Responsible for daily paperwork and the proper completion of all Company documents
- Work with the sales team and the entire organization to ensure the highest level of customer service.
- Identify opportunities for and place permanent point of connection material such as neon signs, clocks, and other signs in on and off-premise accounts
- Work with and support sales staff on cooler resets in retail accounts
- Ensure all POCM is properly themed and current
- Monitor and rotate all close-coded products, monitor breakage and damaged packages at retail
- Knowledge and safe operation of various power equipment
- Create and print basic signage for retail accounts
- Completing miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Can communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Excited to learn about our brands and products
- Willing to work flexible hours when needed
- Capable of working independently and taking initiative.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic, ready to contribute to the team’s success
Education/Experience/Training:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- A college degree or equivalent work experience is a plus
- You will need a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and registration
Physical Demands and Environment:
- Regularly lift objects up to 25 pounds and up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Expect to be on your feet a lot, either standing or walking throughout the day
- Requires a good amount of mental focus to handle complex tasks that need concentrated effort and attention to detail
- Includes travel and facing various weather conditions when visiting customers, prospects, or vendors
- Potential for accidents due to road travel, including traffic incidents, delivery of goods, or the setup of displays, so staying alert and careful is important
Hourly Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, and Saturday work required
