Job Description

AECOM Tishman has an exciting opportunity for a talented Construction Project Manager for our ongoing construction in the Financial District of New York City.  

• Provides overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies. 
• Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors. 
• Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• BS Construction Management, Engineering or related curriculum and 4 years of construction project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Requirements: 

• 4+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience as a PM in interiors construction.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Microsoft Project familiarity. 
• Strong English language skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders, clients, subcontractors, etc.
• Project procurement experience.
• Knowledge of MEP coordination.
• High level understanding of the financial processes of construction management: 
  • Cashflow
  • Pending Items
  • Change order negotiation
  • AIA requisitions
• Current OSHA certification(s).

Additional Information

• In order to be eligible to work at the client worksite for which you are being hired to perform services, you will be required to pass the client's security screening process to include fingerprinting, which will be done after you have commenced employment and is a condition of your continued employment.
• This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
