Guide, advise, and support graduate students through the career planning, decision making, and job searching processes. Assist graduate students in analyzing their interests and skills and developing career goals. Plan, market and implement career related programs and gather data to analyze program effectiveness and establish, strengthen, and maintain relationships between the institution and employers. Liaise with senior stakeholders including faculty, university administrators and employers across NYU's global sites. NYU is an institution committed to diversity, inclusion, belonging, and equity, and this role will engage with our representative work on a global scale. Work with students of all identities to ensure they have access to the level of support they need to be successful.
Qualifications
Required Education:Bachelor's degree in related fieldPreferred Education:Master's degree in a related field.Required Experience:2 year's relevant experience in career services, counseling, student personnel, human resources or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience implementing programs, seminars, events, and preparing training materials.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Career planning, assessment, and job search expertise. Excellent communication, presentation, writing and organizational skills. Committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of work to support equitable access to career support and outcomes.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $78,100.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
