The Assistant Manager, Business Governance and Controls is critical to make this happen and will be responsible to provide specialist subject matter business governance, control and assurance advice to the USA leadership team and key internal Stakeholders within the New York Branch. This includes embedding of the operational risk and compliance risk frameworks.
Key responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to

Day to day management and oversight of risk management including global and local end-to-end key control environments for Non Markets

Contribute to Risk Forums and reporting materials including reporting of Risk Forum packs and minutes

Assist with incident management remediation / root cause analysis activities in relation to process failures and events

Champion I.AM framework approaches

Manage priorities / conflicting issues in a professional manner

Make sound and timely decisions, clearly identifying control gaps in end-to-end processes and escalating concerns as appropriate to Risk Owners

Analyze root cause control failures and identify solutions

Liaise with BG&C, 2nd Line, GIA, and business enablement functions in other ANZ geographies

Maintain strong relationships with local key Stakeholders, Business Unit Heads, HUB Operations and Global QA teams

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is US$120,000 to US$140,000
This range is determined by the job, location and level of expertise required for this specific role. The final salary offered will consider your capabilities, skills and knowledge.
