Operation Supervisor
Location: Lancaster, TX
Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking an Operation’s Supervisor to manage daily operations, production, manufacturing, and maintenance, while overseeing service functions. As the supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing production staff, prioritizing safety, adhering to regulations, and conducting training to ensure quality, productivity, and efficiency targets are achieved. Exempt, salaried positions require a consistent on‑site presence during the company’s core operating hours to support business operations and team needs. Due to the nature of exempt roles, work hours may extend beyond the standard schedule when necessary to meet organizational demands, leadership responsibilities, and business objectives. This may include occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends, depending on the role and the needs of the business, manager will confirm shift expectations.

What you will be doing: (2nd Shift)
- Coordinate production to meet daily distribution and Department of Transportation paperwork needs
- Communicate effectively with each shift counterpart to ensure smooth transition of production activities
- Lead programs for reliability, compliance, quality, and safety in the assigned area and ensure government and/or environmental regulations are met
- Perform in accordance with all aspects of Linde Safety and Quality systems and requirements
- Monitor production and manpower levels, anticipate problems, and develop contingencies
- Identify issues and lead improvement plans in production processes, shift schedules, overtime levels, and training
- Address equipment and product quality issues and ensure sufficient inventory of production supplies is maintained
- Use knowledge of organizational culture to achieve objectives and make timely and well-informed decisions
- Report all activities, areas of concern, and production needs to upper management
- Continuously finds ways to improve work processes to increase efficiency in quality, customer service and profitability
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What makes you great:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3+ years’ experience in an industrial plant environment required
- 2+ years’ managing and developing employees required
- Communicate effectively and actively listen in a variety of settings
- Ability to make tough decisions, take calculated risks, and pursue innovative ideas to drive positive change and organizational success
