Personal Lines Account Manager

North Cascade Insurance, a member of Leavitt Group Northwest, with offices in Mount Vernon and Anacortes, WA is looking for a Personal Lines Agent for their Growing Operations.

Depending on experience and skill set, a potential candidate may be able to set up a hybrid schedule.

In this position you will be responsible for the following:

Job Description:

As a licensed agent, this position requires that the agent be able to provide excellent customer service in managing an existing/growing client base through account reviews, so each client continues to have the appropriate coverage to meet their evolving needs.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• This position will manage their book of business.

• During routine service contacts, they will also use their knowledge to identify any coverage gaps associated with a customer’s request and educate the customer on ways to mitigate their risk.

• The Agent will document all contacts, maintain customer records and files in a professional manner, and update customer information as appropriate for accuracy.

• Additionally, they will use knowledge of personal lines products, carriers, and agency and carrier rules to service customers effectively.  

• Additional responsibilities could include drafting and sending correspondence, and other tasks of a service nature and other duties as assigned.  

• In addition to inbound service calls, the Agent performs service activities to support their team and their manager or others, consistent with the responsibilities outlined above.

Job Requirements/Competencies:

• Property and Casualty license Will be required.

• 2 or more years of experience in personal lines insurance  

• Excellent communication skills; verbally and written.

• Detail oriented and able to maintain compliance standards.

• Must be dependable, provide timely response, and complete work activities.
