Clinical Dietitian Part Time Days
POSITION SUMMARY:
Directs day to day operations of the assigned service areas to include overseeing tray line, staff scheduling/evaluations, meal rounds/cart delivery rounds, tray line efficiency and accuracy, staff development, and overall patient satisfaction. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
- Assists in establishing goals and objectives that support overall strategic plans of the facility/Baptist
Health System. - Monitors the annual department operating and capital budgets
- Monitors tray line production and retail sales for efficiency and accuracy
- Completes patient meal rounds/cart delivery checks daily
- Monitors the Food and Nutrition Services HOTLINE
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Completion of a minimum of a Baccalaureate degree granted by a U.S. regionally
accredited college/university or foreign equivalent
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 to 2 years in a clinical setting
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Registration or Registration eligible with the Commission on
Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. Must successfully complete registration examination
within six (6) months from date of hire. Possession of current Texas State Licensure or Provisional Licensure by the
Texas State Board of Examiners for Dietitians, if newly registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration must
obtain Texas State Licensure within 90 days from registration.
