We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Contracts who will be responsible for leading a team in the Supply Chain Contracts organization. This role is a strategic partner within the Mission Systems Strategic Business Unit and will support Raytheon Company work. This individual will be responsible for providing procurement and negotiation guidance and assistance and must possess significant expertise in areas such as the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DoD Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), use and protection of proprietary information, and supplier financing.

This fast-paced and challenging position is perfect for a dynamic individual with a strong background in resolving complex supplier matters under Government programs.

What You Will Do:

Leads a team on Supply Chain Contracts professionals and advises subcontract managers and buyers as well as provides oversight of the negotiation of subcontract terms and conditions, long-term and strategic sourcing agreements, Raytheon and supplier claims, proprietary information and intellectual property agreements, disputes, terminations and other supplier-related actions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handles and resolves complex supplier issues and support strategic Legal and Supply Chain (LCC) initiatives in coordination with Supply Chain colleagues, business partners, and LCC team members

  • Interface directly with suppliers, their leadership, and various negotiators and advisors

  • Participate in DoD audits and interface with DCMA as required

  • Provide education and training on Raytheon standard terms and conditions of purchase,

  • compliance requirements, and applicable regulations

  • May require travel to customer or RTX sites. Minimal international travel as required.

Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

  • Must have a minimum of 10+ years’ overall business and/or legal experience, with at least 3 years’ of direct experience with contracts or subcontracts

  • Must have working experience in drafting and negotiating terms and conditions of solicitations, purchases, agreements, and licenses.

  • Working knowledge of the FAR, DFARS and related laws and regulations such as CAS and TINA

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Adobe

  • Prior experience in providing clear and concise procurement and compliance advice and consultation to teammates

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

  • Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
