What’s the role?

The Senior Brand Manager – OTC Brand Launch will lead the U.S. commercialization of a new ZEISS brand extension into a new category. This role owns the end-to-end go-to-market strategy, demand generation, and financial performance for the launch across U.S. retail, pharmacy, club, mass, and e-commerce channels.

This is a highly visible, cross-functional leadership role responsible for translating the strength of the ZEISS master brand into a successful new category entry, driving both brand equity and commercial results. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with deep experience in CPG or OTC product launches, regulated categories, omnichannel media, and retail execution with deep experience in agency management.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Own the go-to-market strategy, demand generation, and financial performance for the new ZEISS OTC brand extension across multiple channels (retail, pharmacy, club, mass, e-commerce).

  • Define the value proposition and messaging, adapting the global strategy for the U.S. market.

  • Manage P&L, forecasting, and financial performance tracking.

  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and legal standards.

  • Work closely with Sales, E-Commerce, Shopper Marketing, Supply Chain, and Global teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.

  • Monitor category trends and analyze performance data to inform strategy and optimize results.

  • Oversee agency and vendor relationships to ensure high-quality execution.

  • Plan and optimize media budgets and KPIs (ROAS, CAC, conversion, sales lift).

  • Execute integrated campaigns and support retail promotions/events.

  • Oversee, coach, and develop direct reports, ensuring they are equipped to deliver on objectives and follow processes and procedures.

  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance
    evaluations.

  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and values, driving engagement and accountability within the team.

  • Follows safety standards and reports any safety concerns to leadership.

The annual  pay range for this position is $94,200 - $117,700.

The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
