Job Description

We are looking for a User Experience (UX) Research Intern to join our Customer Insights team. Our focus is to create world-class experiences for our customers. We pride ourselves in rethinking established paradigms and bringing creative solutions into existence in the financial space.

UX Research Interns are given the opportunity to take on real and impactful projects, from study planning to execution to share-out. This includes collaborating with other researchers and cross functional partners, collecting and analyzing data, working with the team to translate insight into action, and developing strong instincts and skills along the way.

This role will be conducting research to support the Operating System (OS) team, which takes a horizontal view of the Cash App product and builds the platforms, primitives and personalization that power our apps and drive our experiences.

Qualifications

You Have:

• Experience with qualitative research, including conducting interviews, analyzing qualitative data, and sharing out findings
• Familiarity with survey methodology and analysis
• Bias towards action and taking initiative
• Ability to collaborate effectively with researchers and key partners (e.g. designers, product managers, engineers) in all stages of the research process
• Enthusiasm about turning insights into actionable recommendations by working closely with team to drive action
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• No ego, open-minded, growth mindset

Cash App internships are 12-weeks and available for US Summer 2023

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the candidate's work location and may be may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $43.00
Zone B: USD $40.85
Zone C: USD $38.70
Zone D: USD $36.55
