Location Options: Des Moines, IA ($19.54 per hour) or Batesville, IN ($17.58 per hour)

Start Date: April 22, 2024

Training Duration: 6-8 weeks (Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm EST)

Post-Training Schedule: Hybrid schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

Working Hours: 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday, start time between 9:30 am - 10:30 am EST

Responsibilities:

  • Understand insurance products, procedures, and system capabilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inbound calls
  • Document phone conversations and written communication
  • Resolve telephone inquiries from contract parties
  • Identify and proactively solve problems or issues
  • Answer customer questions and explain Global Atlantic products
  • Investigate and resolve client requests or complaints
  • Build strong customer relationships
  • Report to work on scheduled shift and have calls recorded for quality assurance
  • Act as the main contact for assigned sales representatives, accounts, and states
  • Provide technical and operational support to clients and agents
  • Use reporting tools and judgment when supplying reports to external customers
  • Participate in team meetings and cross-functional groups
  • Understand commission triggers, payments, and chargebacks
  • Perform other assigned duties by management

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Strong PC and software skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Insurance industry knowledge is a plus

  • Ability to grasp new products, concepts, and procedures
  • Understanding of the industry, sales process, and distribution channels
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent phone presence and presentation
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in difficult situations
  • Demonstrated flexibility with schedules and time management
