The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Project Scheduler with strong integrated master planning and resource scheduling skills for a mid-sized program within CACI’s Aerospace Solutions Group in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in creating and managing resource-loaded schedules and integrated master schedules across multiple projects. The Microsoft Project Scheduler will play a critical role in ensuring project timelines are met, resources are efficiently utilized, and project deliverables are successfully completed.
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed integrated project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Create resource-loaded schedules to ensure optimal allocation and utilization of resources.
- Develop and manage integrated master schedules that span multiple projects, ensuring alignment and coordination across all initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed low-rate production schedules
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure schedules are met and adjust as necessary to accommodate changes in demand or production capabilities.
- Works daily from the CACI San Antonio Texas office.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and team leads across several programs to identify resource requirements and constraints in a matrixed organization.
- Perform resource leveling and optimization to avoid over-allocation and ensure project timelines are met.
- Assist project managers in establishing baseline schedules and reporting progress.
- Monitor resource utilization and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in project scope or resource availability.
- Project future manpower requirements and make recommendations to the program manager and project managers related to resource requirements
- Track project progress against the schedule and identify any deviations or risks.
- Analyze and report on schedule variances and schedule performance indices.
- Prepare and present regular schedule status reports to project managers and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Secret Clearance Eligible (US Citizen)
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of four years of practical experience with Microsoft Project with a strong focus on resource-loaded schedules and integrated master schedules.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking as required to support a range of recurring responsibilities
Desired:
- Project Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) Certification
- Experience in scheduling for low-rate production and electronic manufacturing operations
- Experience with ISO, AS-9100, or CMMI certification program
- Best candidates will be extremely process-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
