<p><b>Financial Risk Officer – Credit &amp; Trading Risk – Junior Customer Journey Expert</b></p><p>ING Bank N.V. (ING) is looking for a Financial Risk Officer within Credit Expert Group (“CEG”) team within Trading Risk Management (TRM).</p><p><b>Job description</b></p><p>TRM CEG is a global function within ING Financial Risk that deals with quantitative assessment of counterparty credit risk exposures.</p><p>This exciting role offers the opportunity to work in important and professionally rewarding enterprise-wide risk management environment. Direct communication with Financial Markets Trading and Sales, Credit and Market Risk quantitative analysist and IT developers will be the norm that provides ample channels for career developments.</p><p>Role responsibilities will cover:</p><ul><li>Supporting a wide spectre of counterparty credit risk measurement models for the whole range of financial asset classes:</li></ul><ul><li>Potential Future Exposure (PFE) for internal limit utilisation estimations based on Monte Carlo and Add-on methodologies, their calibrations and back testing,</li><li>Regulatory and internal exposure at default (EAD) estimations,</li><li>Margin flow modelling,</li><li>Own fund requirements for central counterparties.</li></ul><ul><li>Preparation of quarterly reviews of counterparty risk weighting factors.</li><li>Running impacts assessment for Models updates.</li><li>Advising on risk profiles and pre-deal checks of potential future exposures of exotic and structured deals.</li><li>Manual adjustments of risk estimations within risk system of already existing deals;</li><li>Active participation in the project of implementation of risk modelling,</li><li>Validation of market scenario evolution models for all asset classes.</li><li>Validation of risk profile estimations of all types of derivative products, including credit derivatives, equity, FX and IR derivatives with the emphasis on quantitative aspect.</li></ul><p></p><p>We are looking for a junior professional who is interested to support project activities within a challenging and evolving business environment.  The daily activity requires analysis of datasets, participation in communication and coordination of data gathering, writing specifications, shaping target architecture, taking the lead of sub-projects that ensures regulatory compliance of ING Financial Markets, present your work to (senior management), and find agreement on your work with internal audit and model validation. Our more senior colleagues will support your activities to allow you to learn on the job.</p><p><b>Your work environment</b></p><p>TRM CEG work environment can be characterized as multi-cultural, informal and result orientated. We work agile, meaning we interact with many departments across the FM value chain and seek for best practice inside and outside the organization.</p><p></p><p><b>Who are we looking for?</b></p><p>A successful candidate has affinity with counterparty credit trading risk concepts and feels responsible to deliver on the assigned responsibilities. The candidate has good communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and team members on a day-to-day basis in a timely and professional manner. Our stakeholders range from traders and financial markets quantitative analysts, risk and collateral managers, Information Technology (IT) department, reporting, finance professionals, (senior) management, model validators and model risk management.</p><p><b>Your profile</b></p><ul><li>Good undergraduate degree in a numerate subject.</li><li>Basic understanding of OTC derivatives pricing and risk measurement methodologies.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with ability to drill down to a very detailed level.</li><li>Good communication skills required as direct communication with front office and system development units will be the norm for the successful candidate.</li><li>A hands-on approach, to be able to work independently as well as in the team.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure meeting strict deadlines.</li><li>Proficient in Excel, SQL, VBA.
