Experian Gjeldsregister is one of 3 licensed debt registries in Norway. We are operating under the supervision of the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet). A debt registry is one of the sources that is being used by financial institutions when assessing a consumer’s creditworthiness. Our registry currently consists of all unsecured consumer loans. Soon the registry will also be extended with secured loans (e.g. mortgages). Experian Gjeldsregister is a subsidiary of credit bureau Experian AS.

Job Description

Experian Gjeldsregister AS is looking for a senior full-stack developer with DBA experience/interest.

This position consists of an operational/maintenance of existing services/products as well as future new development of the product portfolio.

Our services are hosted in the cloud (AWS), so having experience with cloud-based development is a strong advantage.

You will work closely together with the product manager, managing director as well as IT service providers, distributor (Experian AS) and technical resources at reporting financial institutions and their service providers.

Qualifications

We are looking for a person who:

• has solid experience in Java / J2EE Technologies, AWS, Lambda, PostgreSQL database
• has strong knowledge of RESTful APIs
• has a basic understanding of infrastructure (firewall, IPS, network)
• enjoys working in a small team, but with access to colleagues in the global parent company Experian AS
• thrives working alone, but believes in the strength of working in team
• likes to take responsibility and ownership
• is self-directed and good at communicating ongoing status
• is a type who likes to understand why something "is the way it is"
• likes to challenge the status-quo and has constructive input on how things can be improved
• likes working with modern technology and acquires knowledge quickly
• communicates well in English, knowledge of Norwegian will be an advantage
• loves to be social and is a culture builder
• takes pride in the work you do
