Join us to leverage your expertise in fostering collaboration among diverse teams, ensuring the successful execution of R&amp;D projects that not only meet market demands but also strengthen our leading position in technology.</p><p></p><p><b>How you will make an impact </b></p><ul><li>Align R&amp;D Processes with Business <span>Objectives: Lead</span> efforts to align R&amp;D processes with business objectives, enhancing our technology leadership and resolving key technical challenges</li><li>Collaborate Globally: Work with global partners and various stakeholders to drive marketoriented projects and long-term technology advancements, playing a crucial role in our innovation journey</li><li>Shape Technology <span>Roadmaps: Execute</span> and refine R&amp;D strategies, actively shaping technology roadmaps that elevate our product line's competitiveness and fuel innovation</li><li>Oversee R&amp;D <span>Projects: Empower</span> R&amp;D project managers to deliver outstanding results that meet quality standards, budget, and deadlines, ensuring impactful project execution</li><li>Facilitate Knowledge <span>Transfer: Promote</span> the transfer of knowledge and best practices across the organization, significantly contributing to the continuous learning and development of our teams</li><li>Build Strong <span>Relationships: Develop</span> and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, enhancing the visibility and influence of our product line on a global scale</li><li>Intellectual Property <span>Protection: Develop</span> and implement strategies for intellectual property protection, managing risks and aligning with corporate guidelines</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your background </b></p><ul><li>Education: A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Technology Management or a related field is required, with significant experience working with transformers</li><li>Experience: [5+] years of experience in R&amp;D, product management, or technology leadership roles within an engineering or manufacturing environment</li><li>Context: Strong understanding of engineering principles, R&amp;D processes, and technology development practices, along with experience in managing complex projects.</li><li>Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.</li><li>Innovation: Visionary mindset to cultivate a culture of innovation, leveraging design thinking to inspire transformative solutions.</li><li>IP: Expertise in navigating Intellectual Property landscapes and implementing proactive risk management strategies.</li><li><span>Decision-Making: Ability</span> to evaluate a multitude of projects and situations with critical thinking  and quickly make informed decisions</li><li>Proven Leadership <span>Skills: Demonstrated</span> leadership skills such as leading R&amp;D teams or large project teams.</li><li>Travel: Willingness to travel up to 20% globally</li></ul><p></p><p><b>More about us</b></p><p>This role is open to multiple locations globally.</p><p></p><p>Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis so we encourage you to apply already today!</p><p></p><p>Recruiting manager Teresa Gargano, <span>teresa.gargano@hitachienergy.com,</span> will answer your questions about the position.
