Northrop Grumman Aeronautic Systems is seeking either a Maintenance Janitor Level 1 or a Maintenance Janitor Level 2 to join our team of qualified, highly talented and diverse individuals for 1st shift Monday – Friday Shift: 6:00 am – 3:00 pm. This position will be Clearfield-Layton, Utah.

Job Duties:

• Maintains premises, rest and working areas of offices and industrial buildings in clean and orderly condition.

• Performs a combination of dusting furniture, walls, fixtures, or equipment; sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, or buffing floors; removing refuse; polishing furniture, fixtures, or trimmings; providing janitorial supplies; and cleaning lavatories, showers, or rest rooms.

• Cleaning Epoxy, linoleum, tile and other floor surfaces

• Shampooing rugs and carpets

• Emptying trash cans

• Changing air filters and cleaning vents

• Dusting disinfecting all surfaces.

• Waxing floors

• Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed

• Washing windows

• Maintaining a thorough inventory

• Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners

• Collecting and taking out trash and recycling

This role may be filled at a Level 1 or Level 2 based on the qualifications below.

Basic Qualifications for Level 1:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years or experience

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR)

Basic Qualifications for Level 2:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years experience working in a maintenance or janitor capacity

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active DoD Secret Clearance

• Working knowledge of general aspects of the job

• Ability to perform routine work with detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments.
